As part of the 13th International Handcraft and Gift Fair, the Crimean Tatar stand, arranged by the Crimean Tatar Association of Culture and Mutual Aid Center, was presented in the capital of the Turkish Republic on December 2.

Following the welcoming speech by Remsi Çair, Chairman of Rem Fuarcılık exhibition company, the guests could enjoy the performance of the Crimean Tatar dance ensemble “Cıyın Ansambli” executing such dances as the Haytarma, Tym-Tym, Yavluk and Agyr Ava.

In fact, everyone can get acquainted with the culture of the Crimea and Crimean Tatar people, as well as literature about the peninsula at the Crimean Tatar stand. In connection with the illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia, there were also distributed the brochures about numerous human rights violations in the Crimea after the annexation.

All money collected from the sale of the Crimean Tatar handcrafts will be used to support compatriots who remained in the occupied peninsula.
