With the assistance of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, Ministry of Infrastructure, Ministry of Health and Kharkiv Regional State Administration, the largest in Eastern Europe Food Forum started its work in Kharkiv hosting the representatives and diplomatic missions from 20 countries.

This year forum is conducted in an unusual format: in May, its first part was held at Danila Galitsky Airport in Lviv. Thus, the organizers of the AGROPORT-2016 decided to unite East and West of Ukraine, to show the unity of our state in the economy and agriculture, to help strengthen the communication of companies, farmers and consumers from all over the country.

Within the framework of the forum there will be held conferences, exhibitions, and demonstration of equipment.

“A 3 days program will be very busy. We will try to make it effective for both top managers of large agricultural companies and small/medium farmers,” said the head of the AGROPORT project Dmitry Titarenko. “Many of them will sign contracts and receive the necessary information directly on-site during these three days.”

The Ukrainian AGROPORT-2016 Forum is not only a significant international event recognized by its participants and guests, but also a hallmark of the International Year of Pulses, announced by the World Food Organization (FAO).

Reference. The 1st International AGROPORT Forum on the development of farming was held in Kharkiv in October, 2014. Since then, the number of its participants and visitors has more than doubled. According to the number of registered participants, this year's forum took the lead among similar events in Eastern Europe.
