The government of the annexed Crimea controlled by Russia decided to sell the oldest hotel Krym in the center of occupied Yalta.

The building of the hotel was built in the late XIX century by the architect Nikolay Krasnov. It is an object of cultural heritage of regional importance.

Hotel Krym will be sold at auction.

“Grant consent to alienation of real estate property of the hotel Krym with a total initial minimum cost of 197.1 million rubles [about 3 million USD] by holding an auction, open on the composition of participants and the form of submission of proposals,” the government portal of Crimea said.

According to the report the hotel located in Yalta at Moskovskaya Street, 1/6, is now owned by the "government" of the Crimea. It is listed in the right of operational management of the state autonomous institution "The Disposal Directorate of the Property of the Republic of Crimea".

Earlier it was reported that the so-called Ministry of Property and Land Relations of Crimea intends to sell three sanatoria on the southern coast of the Crimea - Miskhor, Dyulber and Ai-Petri. They were estimated at 1.5 billion rubles.
