The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has extended temporary emergency measures in the energy sector for another month. The corresponding decision was made during the meeting of the government on April 12.
“This is about temporary measures in the power market. No objections? We continue, the decision was made," Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman said.
Previously, February 15, the Cabinet of Ministers at an extraordinary meeting introduced a state of emergency in the energy sector. The reason was the "trade blockade with the occupiers," which began on January 25.
These measures allow the country to manage the energy in a manual mode, including turning off power and introducing schedules on electricity consumption for enterprises.
