The so-called "head of the Republic of Crimea" Sergey Aksyonov ordered to raise tariffs for utility services for the population next year in two stages by half a year - from January 1 and from July 1.
The corresponding order was published on the website of the Crimean government.
“To establish that the increase of utility tariffs for the population is carried out with a calendar breakdown by half a year, subject to the condition of not exceeding the growth of specified tariffs. From January 1 - by the value of consumer prices index, defined in the basic version of the Forecast of the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation for 2018 and the planning period 2019 and 2020. From July 1 - by the value of the forecast rate of change in the aggregate payment of citizens for utilities on average in the Republic of Crimea (up to 15%),” reads the order.
The monitoring of the order implementation was entrusted to Vladimir Serov, the “Deputy Prime Minister”.
Apparently, the next year will not be easy for the Crimeans. Taking into account that the annexed Crimea took the 70th place in the ranking of the regions of Russia for salaries this year, residents of the peninsula will not be able to pay the new tariffs easily.
To date, the average salary in the Crimea is 18.4 thousand rubles.
Occupants have previously recognized that the Crimea can not sustain itself even by half.
