Speaking at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Arseniy Yatsenyuk pointed out that the world oil price fell to $30, but petrol prices at filling stations are the same as a month ago.
“The lower oil price, the lower price should be at filling stations. Today, the oil price fell to a level of $30, but filling stations use the same pricing parameters as a month ago.
The Prime Minister also instructed the Ministry of Energy jointly with the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine to hold meetings with the market operators regarding the reduction in the cost of fuel due to the drop in oil prices.
“It's not the administrative burden. This refers to the economic assumption to reduce the cost of petroleum products at filling stations. The lower oil price, the lower price should be at filling stations.’
