Despite the fact that it is not easy to enter the Ukrainian educational institutions for Crimeans, they do not want to study in Russia. This was stated by the expert of the Almenda Centre for Civic Education NGO, Valentina Potapova, on Wednesday, September 21, at a press conference on the topic "Whether the activity of the Taurida National University named after V.I. Vernadsky will be renewed in Kyiv?" a QHA journalist reports.

“Russia is becoming less attractive for the Crimean students. If last year, nearly 2,600 applicants joined the Russian universities, this year there were only 1,300 of them,” said Valentina Potapova.

She also stressed the importance of resuming the Taurida National University (TNU) work in Kyiv.

According to the Rector of the TNU Vladimir Kazarin, Russia is losing the battle for the Crimean youth.
