March 30, a Crimean activist Remzi Bekirov was detained by the RF department for countering extremism Center "E" on suspicion of disseminating extremist materials in the social network Vkontakte, the lawyer Edem Semedlyaev reported on Facebook.

“The activist Remzi Bekirov has just been detained; he is accused of allegedly posting the forbidden materials on VKontakte network. Article 20.29 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.”

According to the commentary on the lawyer’s publication on Facebook, a user Alena Savchuk informed that the Crimean Tatar Remzi Bekirov was invited to the department for countering extremism Center "E" to return his personal things previously seized from him during the search in Kamenka.

Earlier, QHA reported on another illegal search in the Crimea: February 21, 2017, armed people broke into Marlen Mustafayev's house in Kamenka. Ten people who came to Mustafayev's house to support the family were detained on charges of participating in an unsanctioned rally. One of them was Remzi Bekirov.

After the trials that were held on the same day, Marlen Mustafayev was arrested for 11 days, and the remaining 10 detainees were sentenced to five days of administrative arrest.
