Russian border guards at the administrative border with the occupied Crimean Peninsula and mainland Ukraine detained three people, the press service of the Border Management of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Republic of Crimea.
Reportedly, all detainees were wanted on the territory of the Russian Federation. Thus, at the checkpoint "Armyansk" a Ukrainian woman was detained, who is allegedly suspected of theft. During the document verification, another Ukrainian was identified, who had been listed as missing for three years.
The third case of detention occurred at the checkpoint "Dzhankoy", where a "citizen of one of the CIS countries" arrived.
"He was stopped on instructions from the law enforcers of his state. Later it became known that the man had been evading from military duty for many years.
Earlier, in May, officers of the Kremlin-controlled border service detained a 46-year-old Ukrainian citizen who was traveling from Zaporizhia to occupied Feodosiya.
