An adherent of the "Islamic State" terrorist organization, who is temporarily residing in Ukraine, has been seized in the city of Vinnitsa, reported the State Administration citing the SBU press-center in the Vinnitsa region.

In the course of searching the foreigner’s house, the SBU (Ukraine's Security Service) has found an unregistered pistol with ammunition, edged weapons, passports from different CIS countries, as well as a large number of electronic components and a guide to the manufacture of explosives and toxic substances.

According to the SBU, the suspect, a wanted ISIL terrorist, was involved in a military conflict in Syria and smuggled the members of the terrorist organization across the Ukrainian border.

Currently, the criminal proceeding has been opened against the arrested man with the investigation being carried out.
