November 4, at 8:00 local time, an explosion occurred near the police headquarters in the Turkish province of Diyarbakir.
Kurdish terrorists claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack. It should be reminded, that Diyarbakir is mostly populated by Kurdish people.

According to preliminary data of the morning,  30 people were injured, but by lunchtime it was reported that more than a hundred people suffered. The Prime Minister Binali Yildirim reported that 93 people have already been discharged from the hospital, and seven more underwent treatment. At the moment it became known about the eight dead, two of them were the police officials.

Law enforcement officers found that more than a ton of explosives was used in the blast. The attack was planned in a public place, to claim as much ives of the civilian population as possible.
The province of Diyarbakır is located at the border of Turkey and Syria. A significant part of its population are Kurds. Kurdish militants systematically commit terrorist acts in the cities at the  Syrian border.
