After Friday prayers on April 6, the invaders in the Crimea raided a mosque in the village of Pavlivka in the Dzhankoy district, the Crimean Solidarity reported on  Facebook.

“There were employees of the FSB with machine guns, wearing masks, one had a shocker...,” the eyewitness said.

According to him, an officer of the FSB said that a complaint had been received that extremist meetings were held in this mosque. At the same time, he did not specify what extremist activity and who filed the complaint against it. Also eyewitnesses reported that the invaders pointed to the fact that the local Muslim community did not receive permission from the local village council for the mosque operating in that particular building, despite the repeated appeals to assist on the matter.

Reportedly, the occupiers had with them photocopies of documents of everyone who went to Friday prayers to the mosque. After the identification of the personalities, the people were searched.

Eyewitnesses note that this is another act of intimidation of the local population by the occupiers. As no evidence and charges were presented by the security forces.
