June 13, at 10:00 in Yalta, occupied by Russia, a search was conducted at the house of Elina Mamedova, the human rights organization Crimean Solidarity reported on its Facebook page.
“Information received that in the city of Yalta today since 10:00 Elina Mamedova (1991 year of birth) has been searched. She is suspected of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for the implementation of extremist activities),” the report said.
At 14:30 Mamedova was taken to the FSB Directorate in Yalta.
Later, the detainee's relatives reported that she was at the Investigative Committee and she was to be provided with an attorney for interrogation.
Previously, the Russian law enforcers conducted searches in the settlement Sraty Krym.
