Aircraft AN-12 with five crew members from Russia and seven passengers crashed in Juba, capital of Southern Sudan.

Reportedly, only two people, one of them a child, have survived.

A cargo plane crashed immediately after takeoff from Juba just 800m from the runway, its debris have been scattered along the banks of the White Nile near the air port. The airline owning the aircraft is still unknown.

The reasons for the disaster are being specified.

Earlier on, it was reported that Oct 31, a Russian passenger plane went down in Egypt's Sinai desert, killing 224 people aboard. The cause of that crash has not been established.
