Carabineros of Italy detained six people from an organization that was engaged in recruiting pro-Russian mercenaries to fight in Donbas.

The arrests were carried out in Milan, Parma and Avellino. A total investigation of the Genoa Public Prosecutor's Office involves 15 people, but law enforcement officers managed to detain only three recruiters, two of whom are citizens of Albania and Moldova. Three more people who, according to preliminary data, are currently in the Donbas, have been arrested in absentia.

Furthermore, Carabineros searched another 7 people. The criminal organization was exposed after investigating the activities of the ultra-right formations of Liguria.

Thus, during the investigation it became known that Andrea Palmeri, who is one of the former activists of the ultra-right organization "Bulldogs", is engaged in recruiting and financing pro-Russian mercenaries in the Donbas.

Earlier, militant agitator was detained in Odesa. The suspect placed materials on the personal pages in the social networks with a call to change the state border, and also popularized the terrorist groups "DPR" and "LPR". She used the information from Russian Internet resources and websites of militants.
