A loud explosion occurred between the buildings of the Provincial administration and the Department of the ruling Justice and Development Party in the Turkish province of Van in eastern Turkey, the AA agency reports.
A strong explosion occurred as a result of a car bomb planted in two hundred meters from the buildings.
One of the party’s deputies said that it was an attack, first of all, on the ruling party.
According to preliminary data, the number of victims has reached 27 people; two of them are in serious condition. There has been no confirmation of deaths yet.
The ambulance teams and law enforcement officers continue to work at the scene.
For the time being, none has claimed responsibility for the attack yet. But it is in eastern Turkey, and especially in the province of Van, Kurdish terrorists carry out similar attacks.
