Two suicide bombers blew themselves up in the Turkish capital Ankara during a police operation. The attackers planned to plant a car bomb. Police officers found about 200 kilograms of substances used for the manufacture of explosives, AP reports.

The extremists blew themselves up after refusing to surrender to police. One of the terrorists was identified. The second one is supposed to be a woman. Police suggest that there was a third man. Search for the terrorist is ongoing.

No one else was hurt or killed in explosion.

Local authorities believe that the suicide bombers were linked to the outlawed in Turkey Kurdistan Workers' Party.

Last Thursday there was an explosion in Istanbul, in the district Şirinevler/Yenibosna near Ataturk International Airport. The cause of the explosion was the motorcycle bomb. According to recent reports, ten people were injured in the attack.
