Near the occupied Crimean city of Kerch in the village of Bagerovo, the vandals painted a gravestone on the Crimean Tatar cemetery with green paint, according to the Crimean Tatar resource center.
The center added that after the occupation, cases of desecration of memorials devoted to the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people increased around the Crimea.
So, last year the vandals desecrated the memorial in Sevastopol, dedicated to the Turkish soldiers who died in the years of the Crimean War.
Earlier, in May 2015 on the eve of the anniversary of the Deportation at the foot of Eklizi-Burun (the highest peak of the Chatyr-Dag plateau), the vandals destroyed a monument erected in memory of the deported Crimean Tatars.
In October 2015, in Koreiz, the unknown people painted memorial plaque on the deportation of Crimean Tatars from the village with a yellow paint.
