Yesterday, on March 14, Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in the occupied Crimea. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko made a speech with sharp statements about Putin’s arrival to the Ukrainian territory, calling the visit to the occupied Ukrainian Crimea a "farce and provocation".
Putin began his trip to the annexed peninsula with visiting an unfinished bridge over the Kerch Strait, where he was welcomed by the so-called Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Crimea Sergei Aksyonov, the leadership of the Krasnodar Territory and other officials.
There, Putin said that the bridge connecting the occupied Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory is expected to be finished by May this year.
Next, the Head of the Kremlin went to the airport in Simferopol, where he left a note in the guest book and told journalists about "the development of the tourist infrastructure."
In the evening Putin attended a concert in Sevastopol, which was organized by the occupiers for the anniversary of the illegal referendum.
According to the information of the Crimean media, about 40 thousand people gathered at Nakhimov Square.
In his speech from the stage, Putin told the Crimeans about the "illegal exclusion of Crimea from Russia" during the Soviet era.
At the concert in Sevastopol, the invaders enticed Crimeans with well-known Russian bands and performers: "Lube", "Gorky Park", Oleg Gazmanov and others.
Earlier QHA reported that the occupiers are attracting Crimeans to go to illegal elections with concerts.
