SUKHUMI (QHA) -

"Administration" of Yalta of the occupied Crimea and "resort town" Gagra of unrecognized Abkhazia today, on November 15, signed an agreement on cooperation.

"Document" was signed by "heads of administrations" cities.

It says that the parties intend to "exchange tourism programs, develop cultural ties and strengthen trade and economic relations."

Gagra and Yalta intend to "conduct friendly consultations to solve problems relating to each side."

The "agreement" is valid for five years.

The self-proclaimed republic of Abkhazia joined the so-called "Club of Friends of Crimea". The unrecognized republic was one of the few who supported the annexation of Crimea by Russia in 2014.

In September 2018, supplies of crushed stone from Abkhazia began in the annexed Crimea. This rubble was to be used for the construction of the Tavrida highway.
