"Deputy prime minister" of the Crimea Mikhail Sheremet and Ruslan Balbec, as well as the "prosecutor" Natalia Poklonskaya will stand down as having been elected to the Russian parliament, reported RIA Novosti.

According to Sheremet, he plans to work in the State Duma in the fuel and energy complex. Ruslan Balbec will not change the area of interest, but keep working in the Committee on the Affairs of the Nationalities in order to "defend the interests of the Crimean people."

As QHA reported earlier, Natalia Poklonskaya is going to head a commission to monitor the incomes of the State Duma deputies.

"Head" of the occupied Crimea Sergey Aksyonov headed the list of the members with United Russia party to enter the State Duma, but later gave up the mandate saying that "he intends to tackle the problems on the peninsula holding the post of the head of executive power."

As QHA reported earlier, September 20 Verkhovna Rada adopted a resolution saying Ukraine doesn’t recognize the legitimacy of the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the seventh convocation, their results and legal consequences, and accordingly, the composition, powers, acts and decisions taken by the State Duma. 264 deputies voted for the corresponding resolution.

Ukraine also appealed to the Security Council, the UN General Assembly, the parliaments of foreign states, international parliamentary assemblies and organizations urging not to recognize the legitimacy of the elections to the Russia’s State Duma of the seventh convocation.
