The Russian delegation does not participate in the meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) Committee on Economic, Commercial, Technological and Environmental Affairs in Kyiv.

This was reported by the Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, People's Deputy Refat Chubarov on his Facebook page.

“Arrived from Geneva at night, and in the morning in Kyiv - a meeting of the PABSEC Committee on Economic, Commercial, Technological and Environmental Affairs. It is clear that the Russian delegation did not come.”

The PABSEC website reports that the 51st meeting of the Committee on Economic, Commercial, Technological and Environmental Affairs is taking place in Kyiv on September 26-27.


As QHA reported, on June, in Albania at the PABSEC session Chubarov was elected as a Vice-Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.

This summer, in the Albanian capital at the meeting of the General Assembly of the PABSEC countries Chubarov raised an issue on Crimean annexation by Russia and repressions against Crimean Tatars.
