Representatives of the diplomatic missions of Latvia and Malta in Ankara, together with the Ukrainian Embassy in Turkey, participated in a flash mob in support of the territorial integrity of Ukraine, the Ukrainian embassy in Turkey informed.
Human rights activists, as well as representatives of the Crimean Tatar community, also joined the flash mob.
“Ankara's diplomatic community, including the Ambassadors of Latvia and Malta, human rights defenders, as well as leaders of the Crimean Tatar community, participated in a flash mob in support of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and political prisoners,” the Ukrainian embassy said in a statement posted on Twitter.
Earlier, representatives of the Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar diasporas of Antalya held a protest, demanding to free Crimea from the Russian occupation and to bring the aggressor to justice.
Previously, on February 24, the embassy of Ukraine in Turkey together with the General Center of the Crimean Turks of Turkey held joint events timed to the fourth anniversary of Russia's occupation of Crimea and the 100th anniversary of the death of the first Mufti of the Muslims of Crimea, Lithuania, Poland, the initiator of the First Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people, the Head of the government of the Crimean People's Republic, the author of the Crimean anthem Noman Çelebicihan.
