The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Ukraine expressed protest to Russia in connection with searches in the occupied Crimea, according to the Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mariana Betsa.

She noted on Twitter that the department is documenting all the facts of crimes.

“Crimean Tatars are further discriminated. Again, searches, illegal detentions in the occupied Crimea. We express the protest to the Russian Federation. The facts of crimes are documented," she wrote.

QHA reported that Russian security forces detained the Crimean Tatar woman after searches in the Stary Krym today, June 18. Security officials did not provide any documents after the measures taken. According to preliminary information, the law enforcers allegedly found a correspondence of the detained with their spouse who is on the mainland of Ukraine.
