Today, February 21, the Ambassadors of the EU extended the sanctions against Russian officials who facilitated the occupation of the Crimea, the journalist Rikard Jozwiak reported on Twitter.

“EU ambassadors have today decided to prolong by 6 months the asset freezes and visa bans on 150 individuals and 38 entities responsible for actions against the territorial integrity of Ukraine.”

QHA reported that the Head of Foreign Ministry of Poland Jacek Czaputowicz made a number of anti-Russian statements, among which he noted the need to maintain sanctions against Russia.

During a wide-ranging interview with CBS television's 60 Minutes on February 18, the US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson stated that the US can impose additional sanctions against Russian citizens.
