The European Union will join in the restoration and development of territories liberated from militants of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko stated on his Facebook page.
“Ukraine welcomes the readiness of the European Union to join in the restoration and development of territories liberated from the Russian aggressor of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions,” he wrote.
The Head of State noted that during the Ukraine-EU summit, the parties agreed on projects that should help to restore infrastructure, as well as economic development.
Earlier, Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine would return uncontrolled territories of the Donbas and the occupied Crimea. Moreover, he noted that Ukraine would use various methods to liberate the occupied territories.
