Earlier, QHA reported that the human rights issue in the occupied territories of Ukraine had worsened over the past year. Thus, in particular, the Russian Federation continues to increase its pressure in the Crimea. The economic situation has also deteriorated in the occupied parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Previously, the German government stated that it condemned the annexation of the Ukrainian Crimea and the violation of human rights on the peninsula. The German government is constantly pointing out these facts to the Russian colleagues. The department stressed that they were "categorically advocating the restoration of the rule of law and the protection of human rights in the Crimea".
