FSB officers in the occupied Crimea questioned three of the Crimean Tatars for the participation of the defendants in the fabricated case "Hizb ut-Tahrir" in Muslim activities in 2015, the Deputy Head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Ilmi Umerov wrote on Facebook.

According to Umerov, such questioning is due to the fact that the occupation security services need to find new evidence to convict the Crimean Tatar detainees.

“FSB officers were interested in the connection between the activists from the sixth Bakhchisarai district with the organizers of one of the Muslim feasts in the period of preparation for the event activists in 2015. The presented video materials showed the defendants in the so-called "Hizb ut-Tahrir" case apart from the local activists. Apparently, the FSB are looking for additional arguments for the prosecution ...”

February 17, the Kremlin-controlled Supreme Court of the Crimea is to consider appeals against the extension of arrest for Muslim Aliev, Emir Usein-Kuku and Vadim SIruk. The appeal by the lawyer Emil Kurbedinov against the decision of the court to extend the detention of persons involved in the "Yalta Four" is to be considered as well.
