The second International Conference on Reform in Ukraine started its work in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, the world media reported.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin on his page in Twitter reported that he had met with his British counterpart.
According to him, London supports the course of reforms in Ukraine.
In turn, British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson said that Ukraine took a decisive step in the path of freedom and democratization and added that London is always ready to support Kyiv.
Meanwhile, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu also arrived in Copenhagen.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman published a live broadcast of the conference on his Facebook page.
The conference was opened by the Prime Ministers of Denmark and Ukraine Lars Løkke Rasmussen and Volodymyr Groysman. On the part of Denmark, the event is also attended by Foreign Minister Sven Mikser.
The media reports that the conference will be attended by the Foreign Ministers of NATO countries, the EU, the Group of Seven, representatives of international organizations.
The first International Conference on Reform in Ukraine was held last year in London.
Reportedly, during a meeting with Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman in Denmark, the Head of the Foreign Ministry of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson said that Ukraine needs to continue the course of reforms. Volodymyr Groysman, in turn, thanked the UK for the high appreciation of the reforms in Ukraine and said that the country is determined to follow this path.
