The main topics of discussion are illegal annexation of the peninsula, the violation of human rights and freedoms in the occupied territory, and the inadmissibility of lifting of sanctions imposed on the aggressor country, Mustafa Jemilev wrote on his Facebook page.

The Commissioner of Ukrainian President first raised these issues at the meeting with Anna Fotyga, Head of the Subcommittee on Security and Defence of the European Parliament.
During a business lunch at the European Parliament, the leader of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev and Chairman of the Crimean Tatar Mejlis Refat Chubarov told colleagues about the real situation in Crimea and answered their questions.

They also discussed the problems, faced by the Crimean Tatar youth being under occupation, with Anna Maria Corazza Bildt, the member of the European Parliament and member of the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality.

Speaking at a meeting of the European Parliament before the presentation of the documentary about the annexation of Crimea, shot by the Polish team, Mustafa Jemilev said that "if the world had immediately reacted harshly to the illegal annexation of Crimea, such terrible consequences would not have taken place."

At a conference in Warsaw Zachęta museum, Mustafa Jemilev warned that the idea of abolition of the anti-Russian sanctions, being discussed in some countries of the European Union, may result in the loss of human lives.
