The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine have been working on expanding the Savchenko –Sentsov sanctions list, which will include the individuals involved in the illegal conviction of Ukrainians in Russia, the speaker of the MFA of Ukraine Mariana Betsa said at a briefing in Kyiv on July 8, according to a QHA correspondent.

“We are currently working hard to add to the list those citizens who were involved in persecution, illegal transportation, holding in captivity and unlawful imposition of sentences to Cherniy, Afanasyev, Vyhovsky, Soloshenko, Kostenko, Litvinov, Karpyuk and Klyh. That is, with regard to all the political prisoners, which has been awarded illegal sentences on political grounds,” said Mariana Betsa.

She also noted that sanctions have been imposed against 84 individuals involved in the persecution of Ukrainians for the time being.
