The so-called head of occupied Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, filed a claim to the Ukrainian Supreme Court against Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to lift the sanctions against him.
Aksyonov's claim was registered on the court's website on September 19.
The trial date is fixed on October 22, 2018.
The Aksenov's defense demands to annul the decree No. 126/2018 of the President of Ukraine on May 14, 2018.
Defendants in this case are the Head of the Ukrainian state and the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC), where the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the National Bank and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine act as the third parties.
Previously QHA reported that Sergey Aksyonov filed a claim to the Kyiv District Administrative Court against the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine regarding the sanctions imposed on him. The third parties in his case were the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the SBU and the National Bank.
