China reaffirmed its support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine at the Ukraine-China Foreign Ministers meeting. The sides expressed confidence that the strategic relations between Ukraine and China are not dependent on third parties. The Foreign Ministers agreed to schedule the next bilateral contacts, in particular in preparation for the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Chinese Commission.

The parties agreed on practical steps to substantially liberalize the visa regime between the two countries, and discussed the state and prospects of implementing the joint infrastructure projects.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of China expressed support for Ukraine's participation in China's initiative "One belt, one way." The parties noted the a common approach to the need for reform of the UN Security Council in order to approve its effective role under modern conditions, according to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s  website.
