To date, no signs are pointing that the Russian Federation is ready to end the annexation of Crimea and intervention in the Donbas, and Russia still remains a military threat, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko stated, speaking with the annual message in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on September 7, QHA correspondent reports.
“The main threat from Russia is military one. Today nothing indicates that Moscow is ready to withdraw from the Donbas or withdraw from the Crimea," he said.
The Ukrainian President further pointed to the anti-Western nature of joint Russian-Belarusian military exercises "West-2017".
Earlier, Poroshenko noted that Ukraine had not yet managed to complete the antiterrorist operation in the East of the country because of the obvious intervention of the aggressor country of Russia on Ukrainian territory.
