The “authorities” of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics agree to postpone the local elections from Oct. 18 and Nov. 1 to the following year, the terrorist representatives Vladislav Daynego and Dennis Pushilin said in a statement posted today on the Luhansk online information center.

- We announce the consent of the Luhansk and Donetsk peoples' republics to postpone elections from 18 October and 1 November to next year", the report says.

According to the “DPR” and “LPR” terrorists, they are ready to work jointly with all members of the Minsk talks to hammer out a compromise draft agreement on elections, which is to be agreed upon by all members of the Minsk talks.

- If during the voting in the Verkhovna Rada, or otherwise, the agreed text is changed, it is to be considered rude and unacceptable violation of measures, posted on the website.

Reminder: Ukrainian authorities scheduled local elections for Oct. 25. In turn, "DPR" and "LPR" said they would hold elections on Oct.18 and Nov.1.
