On June 24, the Head of the state-occupier,Russia, Vladimir Putin will arrive to the annexed Crimea, with a visit to the Artek children's camp, the propaganda news agency RIA Krym reported, with reference to the Kremlin press service.
“On June 24, Vladimir Putin will visit the international children's center Artek in the Republic of Crimea. The President will take part in the opening ceremony of the seventh shift of 2017, which is dedicated to the most famous Artek resident in the world - the American schoolgirl Samantha Smith, as well as will get acquainted with the results of reconstruction of the camp infrastructure, carried out since 2014, and inspect the construction of the camp "Solnechny".
Earlier, in late February 2014 armored vehicles and servicemen of the Russian Federation in the form of unmarked signs appeared in the Crimea. On February 25, the first attempts were made to block Ukrainian warships.
On the night of February 27, the occupiers seized the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. After that, the open active blocking of military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, kidnapping and seizure of the Ukrainian military began on the peninsula.
March 16, 2014 the illegal "referendum" was held in the Crimea under the control of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. On March 18, Russia signed the "treaty on the annexation of the Crimea", thereby annexed the Ukrainian peninsula.
Earlier, QHA reported that in an interview with American director Oliver Stone, Putin said that Russia would defend the annexed Crimea "by all means available" if the occupier-state sees any "threat to its territory".
