The military who betrayed the oath of Ukraine in the Crimea in 2014 will receive housing according to Putin's decree, published on August 24. The decree was published on the official web portal of the Russian legal information.

“Provide housing to the servicemen the present citizens of Russia who previously held service in military units of the Armed Forces, military formations and law enforcement bodies of Ukraine stationed before March 18, 2014 on the territory of the [Autonomous] Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, as well as to the servicemen of the regional State service bodies of the Ukrainian information protection and special communications,” reads the decree signed by the Russian president.

Military traitors will receive either housing or money for its purchase or construction.

The Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine Anatoly Matios reported that the number of Ukrainian soldiers who have stayed on the territory of the occupied Crimea and in fact betrayed the Ukrainian oath, is more than eight thousand people.
