Consulate General of Russia in Odessa, Ukraine, sent a note with a request to provide copies of the documents confirming the identity of the traitors of Ukraine detained at the border with the occupied territory of the Russian Federation in Chongar, and to organize a meeting with them.

“In connection with the information spread in the Ukrainian media about detention of the Russian Federation citizens Odintsov and Baranov by the Security Service of Ukraine on November 20, 2016, the Consulate General of Russia in Odessa sent a note to Ukraine with a request to provide copies of documents confirming their identity and citizenship, as well as to organize a meeting of the Russian Consular officer with the detainees,” Russian Foreign Ministry states.

Deserters were detained by the SBU in a special operation, when two former soldiers of the Ukrainian army, and now the traitors, were lured into the territory controlled by Ukraine under the pretext of issuing documents on higher education for the officer's status in the Russian army.

Earlier, the QHA reported that the Russian Ombudsman Tatiana Moskalkova has asked the Ukrainian colleagues to provide access to the deserters.
