Russia will create the "training area" in the annexed the Crimea to carry out technical security checks at the border, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin told Russian the state news agency TASS following a meeting of the Russia’s State Border Commission.
An instruction will be given, with the consent, to test, apply and put into operation at the border the latest security technology, all sorts of optical means, means to detect illegal entry across the state border, which have not been taken into production yet, said Rogozin.
Vice Prime Minister also said that they will pay increased attention to the protection of borders of the Russia- occupied Crimea.
September 21, Head of the Kherson Regional State Administration Andrey Gordeev reported that the Defence Ministry of Ukraine sent to Kherson region about 10 trains with the means to strengthen the administrative border with Crimea.
The Governor did not specify what particular means were sent to Kherson region.
