On June 30, Russian security forces came to the Crimean Tatar Children’s Center “Elif” in Dzhankoy city, the lawyer Emil Kurbedinov reported.
“It is urgently! The Prosecutor's Office has come to the “Elif” children's center right now!” Kurbedinov wrote in Facebook.
The Crimean Tatar Children's Center “Elif” in Dzhankoy was checked "for compliance with the legislation" at the direction of the Russian Prosecutor's Office of the annexed Crimea, Anton Naumluk, a Radio Freedom correspondent in the Crimea reported, referring to human rights activists who are in contact with the center employees.
The Senior Assistant to the Prosecutor, a police officer, a representative of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-Being, representatives of the Education Department, an officer of the Ministry of Emergency Situations carried out the prosecutorial check. At the same time, the security forces did not make any claims to the center employees and left the center after checking documents.
"The children's center "Elif" in Dzhankoy was checked "for compliance with the legislation" at the direction of the Republican Prosecutor's Office. Representatives of the Prosecutor's Office, the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-Being, representatives of the Education Department of the administration and of the police carried out the inspection. They checked the documents and left, they did not make any procedural documents. Apparently, they did not find any violations.
If I'm not mistaken, power departments has checked the children's center “Elif”, which has been working in the Crimea since 2015, for the third time.
According to the head of the children's center Lutfie Zudiyeva, the "dialogue" lasted for an hour and a half.
"I am expecting for summoning to the Prosecutor's Office to familiarize myself with the results of the inspection”, Zudiyeva wrote in Facebook.
Earlier, on January 27, the special service came to the Crimean Tatar Children's Center “Elif” to check it. As a result documents up to certificates for detergents were confiscated.
On February 16, representatives of the prosecutor's office visited the children's center with demand to provide documents within "consideration of citizens' appeals."
