The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has decided to establish the State Service of Ukraine dealing with the issue concerning the Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol and temporarily displaced people, which will be a central executive agency subordinated to the government.

Relevant resolution No. 297 was signed by Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk on July 17 and published in August 5.

According to the resolution, the Finance Ministry has been instructed to prepare proposals for amending the law on the state budget for 2014 to provide funding for the operation of the state service.

In addition, head of the state service is tasked within two weeks after the appointment to submit to the Cabinet of Ministers a draft charter of the agency, as well as draft regulations of the government on the approval of the number of employees and location of the agency.
