On December 7, the 24th Council of Ministers of the OSCE was convened in Vienna (Austria), with the participation of Deputy Chairmen of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Ilmi Umerov and Akhtem Chiygoz, as well as Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin, the Speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mariana Betsa informed on Twitter.

According to her, it was not the first time that the US delegation stated that the United States did not recognize the annexation of the Crimea.

“USA: We fully support the territorial integrity of Ukraine, we will never recognize the illegal occupation and annexation of the Crimea by the Russian Federation,” she wrote.

Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin on his Twitter page added that "every violation of human rights in the Crimea should lead to new sanctions."

The Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed on Twitter that the meeting began with the discussion of human rights issues in the Crimea.

“Friends of Ukraine meeting at the side event of OSCEMC17. We need to find a solution in the conflict and keep pressure on Russia with the aim to restore Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. CrimeaIsUkraine”

The Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov on his Facebook page emphasized that Umerov and Chiygoz met, in particular, with Foreign Ministers and Heads of missions of the OSCE member states: the United Kingdom, Denmark, Spain, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Romania, USA, Turkey, Sweden, and Estonia.

Reportedly, the twenty-fourth session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of OSCE member states and Observers takes place in Vienna on December 7-8. In 2017, Austria chairs the OSCE, the OSCE Chairmanship is Sebastian Kurz, Federal Minister for European, Integration and Foreign Affairs of Austria. Earlier, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Chrystia Freeland, who is taking part in this meeting, said that she would focus her attention on Ukraine and the illegal annexation of the Crimea by Russia.

QHA reported that the German government condemns the annexation of the Ukrainian Crimea and violations of human rights on the peninsula, which is constantly pointed out to the Russian Federation. The Foreign Ministry of the Federal Republic of Germany stated that they "strongly support restoration of the rule of law and protection of human rights in the Crimea".
