Poland, the United States and several other countries are participating in the drafting of an international declaration demanding the release of Ukrainian political prisoner Oleg Sentsov.

The document will be handed over to the Russian representative for human rights, as well as to the Ministries of Justice, Foreign and Internal Affairs, and the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.

The declaration stresses that Oleg Sentsov, who is illegally detained in Russia, has been on a hunger strike for more than two months, and Moscow does not respond to international calls.

"We urge Russia to release all illegally imprisoned citizens of Ukraine," the draft declaration says.

Earlier, Oleg Sentsov asked his lawyer Dmitry Dinze to visit him not so often. He does not see the point in frequent visits, because nothing is happening around his case.

Earlier, a member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Eskender Bariev suggested that Russia can free Oleg Sentsov through negotiating with America about his exchange for Russian agents who are in American prisons.
