The Chairman US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations in Congress Bob Corker reported that the US Senate had agreed a bill to expand the sanctions package against the Russian Federation, Iran and the DPRK.

Senate is expected to vote the bill in near future, and it will be submitted for signature to President Donald Trump, Reuters reported.

"I am glad to announce that we have reached an agreement that will allow us to send sanctions legislation to the president's desk," Senator Bob Corker, the Republican chairman of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said in a statement on 26 June evening.

Earlier QHA reported that congressmen had adopted a package of new sanctions against totalitarian countries and had submitted the law to the Senate for approval on July 26.
