The Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin thanked the EU Council for the extension of sanctions against Russia, according to the message on his Twitter page.
Klimkin stressed that the sanctions list should include those responsible for the violation of human rights in the occupied peninsula and involved in the construction of the Kerch bridge.
“Grateful to our EU friends for annual roll-over of Crimea-related sanctions. It’s also crucial to list those responsible for massive Human Rights violation on occupied peninsula and those engaged in construction of Kerch bridge. We should proceed from non-recognition to de-occupation #CrimeaIsUkraine," he wrote.

Earlier, the EU Council extended sanctions against the Russian Federation for another year. Sanctions apply to the import into the European Union of products from the Crimea and Sevastopol, investments and the supply of goods. They also ban purchasing real estate on the peninsula and financing of Crimean companies for Europeans.
