KHERSON (QHA) -

The activist of the Ukrainian Cultural Center, Olga Pavlenko, who had been recently searched by FSB officers, departed from the territory of the annexed peninsula to the mainland of Ukraine.

Pavlenko crossed the administrative border with occupied peninsula at the checkpoint Kalanchak.

Activist from the Crimea Mykhail Batrak informed QHA that Olga Pavlenko is currently in Kherson.

According to him, the woman still refuses to give any comments to the media.

“Olga is now in Kherson, I also drove to Kherson. She is all right. She is still refusing to give comments - temporarily, until the problem is solved,” Batrak said.

QHA reported that on August 30 the activist was interrogated in the Investigative Committee (SC) of the Russian Federation in the annexed Crimea. Pavlenko was at the interrogation with her lawyer.

Previously, Russian security forces came with a search in the house of Olga Pavlenko in occupied Simferopol in the morning of August 29. The decision to conduct a search indicates that Pavlenko is suspected of having links to the "Right Sector".
