SIMFEROPOL / AQMESCIT (QHA) -

The shopping center "Berg" was closed in occupied Crimea by the court decision that is controlled by the Kremlin. This was reported by the press office management of the Federal Bailiffs Service of the Russian Federation.

Occupants reported that the reason was fire safety violations.

“The basis of the shopping center work prohibition became the fire safety violations being a real life threatening for people’s life which were identified during the inspection by the supervisory bodies,” reported in the press-release.

The shopping center "Berg" is located in the center of Simferopol and covers an area of 5 thousand square meters. It was opened in 2016.

QHA reported that the occupation authorities have closed two shopping and entertainment centers "M-Grand" and "Adiz" in Saki after the fire safety inspections by the Saki inter-district Prosecutor's Office.

Earlier, on May 24, occupants have closed the shopping center "Musson" (Monsoon) in Sevastopol, and on July 17, they closed another one – “Sea Mall”, also due to the fire safety violations.
