During August 2017 border guards of the Kherson detachment of the State Border Service of Ukraine took administrative legal action against more than a hundred citizens, most of the cases involved violation of the order of entry and exit to the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, according to the report by the press service of the SBS.
“The military servicemen of the detachment brought 142 citizens to administrative responsibility, of which 90 - for violation of the order of entry to the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and departure from it,” the message says.
At the check points "Kalanchak" and "Chaplynka" Ukrainian border guards found 2 forged and 18 invalid passports, for various reasons the entry was denied to 86 people, of whom 33 were foreigners.
According to the results of the survey work in the entry and exit check points on the administrative border, border guards found 2 weapons and 98 cartridges, 580 pills containing narcotic substances and about 2 grams of methamphetamine.
On the coastal section of the border during the patrolling of the Black Sea waters, border guards discovered 10 prohibited fishing gear, more than 500 meters of fishing nets and 65 kilograms of seafood. The total amount of losses to the state inflicted by poachers, amounted to 5.5 million hryvnia.
