The North Caucasus garrison military court in Rostov-on-Don held a video conference session with the occupied Simferopol on the fabricated case of "Hizb ut-Tahrir" ("Yalta group") today, April 25, according to the report on the website of the human rights organization CrimeaSOS.

Edem Semedlyaev, the lawyer of the accused Crimean Tatar activists, filed a petition to declassify the prosecution witness.

“At the trial, the lawyer Edem Semedlyaev filed a petition to declassify the secret prosecution witness, in accordance with the wish of the witness. The court granted the lawyer's request, after which the witness gave testimony in favor of the defendants in the case.”

Earlier, lawyers of the Yalta group defendants Emil Kurbedinov and Edem Semedlyaev said that the prosecution witness in the Yalta Group case showed resilience and did not give accusations against the Crimean Muslims despite intimidation by FSB officers.
