Qualifying rounds for the 2017 Eurovision will be held on February 4, 11, 18 and 25, 2017 at the Center of Culture and Arts of the National Technical University ‘Kyiv Polytechnic Institute,’ according to the website of STB TV channel, covering with UA: Purshyi TV channel the qualifying rounds.

Konstantin Meladze, composer and music producer, and Jamala, winner of the 2016 Eurovision, will be on the jury of the competition.

Ukraine won the right to host the 2017 Eurovision as a result of Jamala’s victory at the song contest in Stockholm. So, the 2017 Eurovision will be held at the Kyiv International Exhibition Center in Kyiv's Left Bank suburb. The song contest semifinals will be held on May 9 and 11, and the final - on May13.

Based on the number of applications submitted, the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest will bring together a record number of participants, equaling the total set in 2008 and 2011.
